Rockport Technologies Event KC Showroom

On Thursday, March 2nd, Jon Zimmer (Director of Sales) from Rockport Technologies will be at our Kansas City showroom. He will be available to talk about Rockport speakers during our normal hours 11AM-6PM. During that time you can walk in and have a chat and listen. If you would like a private appointment with Jon, please schedule it in advance with your consultant.

PRESENTATIONS: 6:00PM and 7:30PM

The evening will feature two presentations by Jon discussing Rockport’s design philosophies and models concluding with a demonstration of the Cygnus loudspeakers. We would appreciate an RSVP for the evening sessions just to help us plan for seating and refreshments.

Our Kansas City Showroom displays the Rockport Technologies Cygnus, Avior II, and Taurus center channel. The Avior II and Taurus will be in our new theater configuration making it the only Rockport Technologies-based theater system on demonstration in the United States. The Avior IIs can also be auditioned in stereo.

ABOUT ROCKPORT
Rockport is a 30-year-old company Currently building five loudspeaker models plus a center channel. Between our two showroom locations, we have them all available for listening. Each Rockport speaker is a bespoke product, individually calibrated and auditioned in the Rockport listening room before shipment. We have an excellent and longstanding relationship with Rockport. We have been a dealer since 2005. Rockport is in it for the long haul building slowly for a solid future.

The main five loudspeaker models are Atria II ($38,000/pr), Avior II ($47,000/pr), Cygnus ($70,000/pr), Orion ($133,000/pr), and Lyra ($190,000/pr).

In addition, there is the Taurus, a low-profile speaker intended mainly as a center channel but would perform well as a stereo pair if a low profile is needed. The Taurus is $20,500 each with stand.

We generally have all models on display between our two showrooms. Call ahead to make sure you can hear the model you are most interested in and where it is located. Presently, Orion and Atria II are on demo in Omaha. While Kansas City displays Cygnus, Avior II, and Taurus. Lyra are being reset in Omaha and will be available for audition soon.
