For next Thursday’s Listening Session, we’ve chosen to highlight singer-songwriters past and present. Singer-songwriters have always been an important part of music because they put the story and the person behind the song front and center. From the folk revival to today, artists have used their own experiences and observations to create music that feels personal, honest, and relatable. While the sound has changed over the years, that connection between songwriter and listener remains as powerful as ever.
