TUESDAY: LUMINA V LOUDSPEAKERS

Lumina V is a very capable three-way floorstanding loudspeaker designed and built in Italy. Lumina V is the best-performing speaker we know about at $2,999/pr. They are musically accurate and enjoyable to listen to representing a sweet spot in the line, having all the Sonus faber characteristics at a very reasonable price. We are so excited about them that we have recently altered demo displays in both showrooms to accommodate complete music systems featuring them.

LUMINA V-BASED SYSTEMS AT THE SOUND ENVIRONMENT

For us at The Sound Environment, the basic principles of a successful audio system do not change with price. Our systems featuring Lumina
V represent everything that makes our highest-performance systems great only at a more approachable price. These systems can be an excellent starting point where someone might take advantage of our Trade Up Program and increase system performance over time but are also good enough to be an end point for someone just looking for a great system to enjoy for years to come.

To us, a successful system is able to reproduce live, unamplified acoustic music as realistically as possible. This has been a 53-year mission. It is a difficult but rewarding standard to strive for. We have found systems that do this can reproduce all genres of music well and enjoyably.

in both of our showrooms, we display Lumina V powered by Arcam amplification with the Innuos ZENmini handling digital to analog conversion and streaming functionality. Mechanical and electrical noise reduction is provided by HRS isolation products and Transparent cabling/power conditioning. Individually, all of these components have the characteristics we listen for and have been vetted by our team. Together they work synergistically to complete a successful music system. Iterations of complete Lumina V-based systems start around $5,500.
